Is a concrete slab around your home sinking or uneven?
Whether it’s a backyard slab, interior concrete floor, detached structure base, or outdoor pad, settling concrete creates safety concerns and drainage problems. It can also lead to cracks spreading and further movement over time.
The good news? If the slab is still intact, it can often be lifted instead of replaced.
Liftwerx Concrete Lifting Services provides professional concrete slab leveling using polyurethane foam injection — a faster, cleaner, and more affordable alternative to demolition and re-pouring.
Concrete slabs sink when the soil underneath shifts, erodes, or compacts unevenly.
Common causes include:
When support is lost underneath, the slab begins to drop. Cracks may form, and edges become uneven.
Replacing the slab does not fix the soil issue. Concrete slab leveling stabilizes the ground below first.
If one slab is settling, other areas may also be affected. We also provide driveway leveling, garage floor leveling, patio leveling, and general concrete repair.

Chad is a great guy, and he did a good, thorough job at a much better price than other estimates I got! Katherine ThomasTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Chad was super nice. He showed up on time and stayed until the job was complete. Excellent work, I would definitely contract his services again. Patricia HartTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Chad came over for a free estimate on jacking up our 3step exterior stairs that connect to our concrete patio. He spent 60 minutes with multiple measurements and explained all the repairs that were needed. (He even got out our extension ladder to assess the slant of our pergola). He told us that we wouldn’t be satisfied with just jacking up our stairs because of the other problems with our concrete patio, which we were unaware of. So he essentially turned our job down. He then explained thoroughly what we needed for repairs. This guy was just sincerely interested in helping us. He was ethical, had expert knowledge, and went above and beyond his free estimate. Although he didn’t do work for us, we would definitely hire him for this type of work. Joanne HartTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Very happy with completed job! Chad is great to work with and finished up the work in a timely fashion. Caleb & Callie LithanderTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Bill HumphriesTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Chad was great to work with. He responded to an initial inquiry on a Saturday and had a quote to me by Sunday. Leading up to the work being done, he was responsive and answered all the questions I had. The quality of work was top-notch, and I will not hesitate to bring him back out or to refer others to him. Alyssa VesterTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Chad is AMAZING! Our driveway / garage floor were tripping hazards when we bought our new home and he made them safer. He is quick, kind and informative. Start to finish we felt kept in the loop with solid communication, even after the work was completed he followed up to ensure we were happy with it. Bryan VineTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Chad is an amazing person to work with. Very honest and takes so much pride in his work. There were moments with our project that I was satisfied, however Chad was not and continued to work hard on it until he was satisfied with the results. I would recommend Liftwerx over and over again. Sandy PodtburgTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Chad was very professional and did a great job! I was very pleased with his communication throughout the process. Would highly recommend!
You may need concrete slab leveling if you notice:
Addressing the problem early helps prevent further movement and more costly repairs later.
We use polyurethane foam injection — sometimes called polyjacking or slabjacking — to lift and stabilize sunken slabs.
Here’s how it works:
1. Drill Small Access Holes
We drill small 5/8″ holes in targeted areas of the slab.
2. Inject Expanding Foam
High-density polyurethane foam is injected beneath the slab. It expands to fill voids, strengthen weak soil, and gently raise the concrete back to level.
3. Patch & Ready to Use
Once aligned, the holes are patched neatly. Most slabs are ready for use the same day.
No demolition. No heavy equipment. No long cure times.

Yes. The expanding foam is designed for structural stabilization and fills voids beneath the slab to provide long-term support.
Both methods lift sinking slabs, but polyurethane foam expands to fill small voids more effectively and adds less weight to weak soil. You can learn more on our Poly Leveling vs. Mudjacking page.
